This week, four Canadian provinces held PNP draws. These were British Columbia, Prince Edward Island, Ontario, & Alberta. 

PNP Draws Results: September 16 – 22

Here are the Provincial Nominee Program draws results from September 16 – 22. Note that the particular terms around immigration can change from province to province. To simplify it, all immigration invitations to apply will be referred to as ITAs. Moreover, immigration eligibility scores will be referred to as ‘score’ or ‘scores’. 

  • British Columbia

BC held both targeted as well as general immigration draws, which encompassed multiple immigration streams. These were: 

  • Skilled Worker Stream 
  • Skilled Worker-Express BC Option 
  • International Graduate Stream 
  • International Graduate EEBC Stream 
  • Entry Level & Semi-Skilled Immigration Stream 

EEBC demonstrates that this stream of BC PNP is aligned with Express Entry & can accept enhanced nominations. 

Between these streams, the BC PNP issued 147 ITAs. The minimum score to be invited under this draw for Skilled Worker, as well as Skilled Worker EEBC option stream, was 108. The minimum score for the International & International Graduate EEBC options stream was 111. Finally, Entry-level and semi-skilled stream applicants needed a minimum score of 89 to be eligible for PNP draws. 

Simultaneously, the BC PNP issued 78 ITAs to applicants under both the Skilled Worker Stream & International Graduate Stream in targeted PNP draws. In addition, applicants who had professional experience as early childhood/ assistants or in healthcare professions were considered in this draw. The minimum CRS score needed was 60. 

  • Alberta 

The Alberta PNP declared two PNP draws this week. 

The first draw took place under the Family Connection & Priority Occupation In-Demand streams. Moreover, this draw issued 142 ITAs to applicants with a minimum score of 301. 

In addition, the second draw was under the Priority Sector stream & targeted candidates with experience in tourism & hospitality professions. The AAIP issued 300 ITAs to applicants with a minimum score of 383. 

  • Ontario 

The Ontario PNP held two PNP draws this week. The first was a general draw from Masters Graduate Stream & issued 537 ITAs to applicants with a minimum score of 41.

In addition, the second draw was a general selection draw under the PhD Graduate Stream. The OINP issued over 71 ITAs to applicants with a minimum CRS score of 40 or above. 

  • Manitoba 

The Manitoba PNP declared four PNP draws this week across numerous streams. 

The first draw was an occupation-specific selection draw & delivered over 298 ITAs to applicants with a minimum score of 612. 

More specifically, these PNP draws targeted applicants with experience working as sales & service representatives or in any other supporting professions. 

The MPNP also held a second general draw for all other targeted professions. This draw issued over 239 ITAs to applicants with a minimum CRS score of 631. 

The third draw occurred under the International Education Stream & targeted applicants with skills that meet labor market needs & who graduated from an educational institution in Manitoba. The draw issued over 56 ITAs, with no minimum score mentioned. 

Finally, the last draw took place under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream & invited applicants based on their prior invitation by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative. In addition, the draw invited 27 applicants with a minimum CRS score of 723 to apply for PR. 

  • Prince Edward Island 

The PEI held two PNP draws this week. 

The first took place under the Business Impact Category & issued four invitations to applicants with a minimum score of 80. 

Moreover, the second draw occurred via the Critical Worker Stream. The draw issued around 153 ITAs to applicants who were already working for an employer in the province & held a minimum score of 55.
