British Columbia and Manitoba issue provincial nominations. Here are the results for the same.

1. British Columbia

The British Columbia PNP invited applicants in two separate draws, i.e., on May 14th and May 22nd.

On the 14th, the BC PNP issued 37 invitations in a general draw that considered all skilled worker streams within the program, i.e., Skilled Worker, Skilled Worker EEBC Option, International Graduate, International Graduate EEBC Option, and Express Entry and Semi-Skilled Streams.

Applicants required a minimum score of 131 to be invited under all streams – except for the Express Entry and Semi-Skilled stream, wherein applicants needed a minimum score of 107.

In addition, the EEBC option indicates that the stream is aligned with Canada’s federal Express Entry managed programs.

Within the same draw on the 14th, the BC PNP held targeted draws for applicants with professional experience within the occupations in-demand in BC. This draw was held under the Skilled Worker and International Graduate (including EEBC stream) and issued invitations to a total of at least 36 applicants. Draw cut-off scores were:

  • Childcare: 90
  • Construction: 93
  • Healthcare: 100
  • Veterinary Care: 80

On May 22nd, the BC PNP held another targeted draw for in-demand positions under the Skilled Worker and International Graduate (including the EEBC option). A minimum of 75 invitations were issued with a cut-off score, including:

  • Childcare: 93
  • Construction: 93
  • Tech: 122
  • Healthcare: 100
  • Veterinary Care: 80

2. Manitoba

On May 23rd, the Manitoba PNP held draws under three different programs.

The Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream issued invitations to those whose profiles declared a ‘Manitoba Supporter’ who is a close relative and a Canadian permanent resident or citizen. Applicants also needed to have resided in Manitoba for a minimum of one year to be considered in this draw. The MPNP invited 121 applicants with a minimum score of 782 under this stream.

On the same day, Manitoba held a draw under the International Education Stream, issuing 93 invitations to eligible applicants.

Lastly, the MPNP also held a draw under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream. Applicants were invited if their profiles indicated they had been invited under the MPNP’s strategic recruitment. The province issued over 39 invitations to applicants with a minimum score of 688.

Of the 253 total applicants who were invited to apply, 29 indicated a valid Express Entry profile and a job seeker validation code.
