The latest Express Entry draw was conducted. A total of 3200 invitations were issued to candidates across all Express Entry programs, with a CRS cutoff score of 420 points. 

 

Canada’s Express Entry draw – What is it? 

Express Entry offers the possibility of becoming a Canadian permanent resident. Candidates receiving an ITA for permanent residency (PR) are chosen based on their point total and their ability to meet Canadian job market criteria. 

What is the frequency of Canada Express Entry? An immigrant from Canada often asks this question. Every two weeks, Express Entry draws take place. During a pause between two drawings, more invites are sent, increasing the number of participants. Moreover, each express entry draw has a tiebreaking date and time.

Express Entry was created by the Canadian government in order to simplify the immigration process for people from around the world. Nominees whose streams are aligned with express entry are eligible to apply for all express entry-administered programs. 

 

Invitation to apply – What is it? 

In order to apply for immigration through the Express Entry system, foreign workers must create and submit a profile. Individuals with a comprehensive ranking system score of 400 or higher are invited to apply for Canadian permanent residency. As a result of this invitation, candidates can apply for permanent residency. 

 

When will the subsequent Express Entry draw be held? 

A public timetable of upcoming draws is not available, which makes it impossible to predict the exact date of the Express Entry draw. As of now, Express Entry draws have been held every two weeks on Wednesdays by IRCC. The Express Entry draws do, however, sometimes take place on other days of the week, and they may occur more frequently or less frequently at times. 

 

Comprehensive Ranking System score – What is it? 

If a candidate wants to be considered for the Express Entry program and receive resident status, he or she must submit a profile. Applicants who wish to apply for Canadian permanent residency submit this resume as an Expression of Interest. 

CRS scores are used to determine whether permanent residents are invited to apply after submitting a profile. 

In order for a CRS score to be calculated, the following factors must be taken into account: 

• Canadian certificate of education 
• Language proficiency 
• Canadian work experience 
• Foreign work experience 
• Age  
• Post-secondary degree 
• Education

The key elements taken into account within the Express Entry system are age, language proficiency, educational background, and professional work experience. 

If you follow these tips, you will be able to improve your CRS score: 

• Maximize points through human capital factors: Optimize your age, educational qualifications, and language test results to achieve the highest possible score. 
• Gain extra points with French proficiency: Demonstrating strong proficiency in French can earn you additional points. 
• A sibling who is a permanent resident or Canadian citizen: Having a sibling who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident can grant you extra points. 
• Leverage your spouse’s human capital factors: If applicable, the human capital factors of your spouse can contribute to increasing your overall points. 
• Provincial nomination: Obtaining a provincial nomination from Canadian provinces can provide a significant boost of 600 additional points.

 

Enhance your CRS score for the upcoming Express Entry Draw 

Low CRS score applicants have the opportunity to raise it by submitting an application for residency in the next express entry draw if they wish to be considered for residency.  

You can raise your score on a language exam, such as the IELTS, by retaking the test. Additionally, a candidate’s spouse can help enhance the candidate’s CRS score by adding extra points. 

Applications for the Provincial Nomination Program should be submitted by the applicant. With 600 points added, he or she will be able to qualify for the express entrance draw virtually guaranteed.
