How Do You Apply For The International Mobility Program Canada 

There are three primary steps to apply for the International Mobility Program. They are: 

Step 1: Check Your Eligibility 

In order to be eligible, you must fill out the program requirements. They are as follows:

  • Official job offer letter
  • LMIA exemption code 
  • Education 
  • LMIA exemption

Step 2: Get A Job Offer

You need to submit an offer of employment from your prospective Canadian employer via the program employer portal. 

For this employment offer to be accepted into the program, it needs to meet a few criteria: 

  • The job/ temporary foreign worker must meet the requirements for LMIA exemption. 
  • The employer just pays the $230 compliance fee. 
  • If required, the employer must submit an official job offer to the employer portal.  

However, if the temporary foreign worker has a Canadian open work permit, the employer won’t have to pay the compliance fee/ submit the official job offer. 

Step 3: Apply For A Work Permit
